BUTTER TARTS
"If you like thick pastry, you may need to pre-bake the tart shells."
Ingredients:	Method:
3 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 cup golden brown sugar 1 large egg ¼ cup raisins ¼ cup walnut pieces or pecans (optional) ½ teaspoon vanilla 1 dozen pastry tart shells	1. Cream butter and sugar. 2. Beat in egg. 3. Add raisins, nuts and vanilla - mix well. 4. Fill the pastry shells, and bake at 350° F for 12 to 20 minutes until golden and puffy. 5. Makes one dozen.
