6 slices of bread OR 6 frozen
Hashbrowns
1 pound of sausage (browned and drained)
1½ cup of shredded cheese (your favorite)
6 eggs
2 cups of half and half or other cream
1 teaspoon salt

1. Take crust off bread and spread a
thin layer of butter on both sides.
2. Place in a 13"x9" glass dish which has been sprayed with a nonstick
spray.
3. Sprinkle sausage over bread then sprinkle cheese over sausage.
4. In a mixing bowl mix cream, eggs and salt. Pour over sausage and
cheese.
5. Bake at 350°F for about 45 min or until done in the center. Check like
you would a cake for doneness.
6. You can also fix this casserole the night before and bake it the next
morning. Take it out of the fridge 15 minutes before baking. |
