1 packet parsley and thyme stuffing mix
- made up
6 slices topside steak
1 tablespoon fat
1 large onion - sliced
2 tablespoons flour
2 beef stock cubes
¾ pint hot water
1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons dried mixed herbs
1/3 cup tomato sauce
Salt and pepper |
1. Flatten the steaks as thin as
possible.
2. Season meat and spread a little of the stuffing on each slice. Roll up
and secure with toothpicks.
3. Melt fat, brown meat rolls (olives) all over. Transfer to a shallow
ovenproof dish.
4. Saute onions for 5 minutes, add flour and cook 1 minute more.
5. Add stock cubes, hot water, sauces and herbs. Bring to boil and season.
6. Pour over meat rolls (olives), cover, and bake 350° F for 1 hour. |
