1 pound blade steak - diced
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 onions - sliced
3 carrots - sliced
1 clove garlic - crushed
2 stalks celery - sliced
¼ pint coconut milk
½ pint beef stock
Kari Blend:
2 tablespoons curry powder
1 tablespoon flour
½ teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon turmeric
¼ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper |
1. Saute meat in butter till golden.
Remove from pan.
2. Add oul and saute veges till soft.
3. Stir Kari Blend into vegetable mixture.
4. Add stock and coconut milk and mix. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
5. Add meat and continue to cook over low heat till meat is tender. |
