APPLE (PEACH) DUMPLINGS
"These will not last long! I have also made these with  Raspberry flavored peaches! One thing I like about these is they do not get soggy!

Ingredients:

Method:

2 cans of Crescent Rolls
2 apples - cored and peeled
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 12 ounce can of Mountain Dew ( soft drink)

1. Peel, core, and slice the apples into 8 slices per apple.
2. Put one slice of apple onto each slice of crescent roll that has sprinkled with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar (to taste).
3. Roll up and place in 9"x12" baking pan.
4. Melt butter, sugar and cinnamon. Pour over dumplings, then pour the Mountain Dew over all and bake at 325°F for 40 minutes.
